Ristorante Antica Osteria in Straelen

Ordered the first and last time today. Vegetarian casseroles weren't even 1/3 full and one time pizza rolls didn't arrive either. Not recommended unless you want to eat pizza!

The two of us spontaneously dined there yesterday on a Wednesday evening. I had absolutely no expectations, as I hadn't found out about the restaurant beforehand and had never heard of it before. What can I say, we'll be back. :) Very good service. Above all, I think it's worth mentioning that both of the staff react immediately to eye contact, which is rarely seen today. The tips of the day were presented very nicely and queries were always possible. We order both tips of the day, one entrecôte filled with dried tomatoes and mozzarella as a side dish spaghetti and one homemade pappardelle with strips of beef fillet and chanterelles. Everything was cooked to the point and very, very tasty. The entrecote wasn't swimming in sauce, on the contrary, the sauce gave the final whistle and was incredibly tasty. Portion size was filling and absolutely adequate. I'm excited to see what I'll eat there next time and I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Wanted to eat pizza, changed our mind spontaneously and we were very excited about this decision! No long waiting and friendly service 😊 We will be very happy to come back!

We already ordered two families of pizzas and pizza rolls for the evening the previous day. Since the pizza was still not there after a long wait, we had to call and discuss two more times before the pizza was delivered. The pizzas arrived cold and the pizza rolls were completely forgotten. Never experienced such bad service.

We waited for drinks for 1 hour and in the end we got them ourselves. I can't judge the food because we didn't get anything and many other guests who also left. Total chaos, disorganized. The food came cold or not at all, as did the drinking.

Very delicious food and very friendly service :-) We will be back soon!
